Varina 4H Miniature Horse Shows, 2nd Saturday
each month beginning in March. Dorey Park
The Miniature horse show will being at 10 am!!!! First class is a miniature horse
youth showmanship class. The Open halter and the open halter 2 and under will be
between the Adult Showmanship and the first Mini Halter class.
Miniature horses and show ponies will show against each other this year. This year's
first fun class will be Fuzzy Mini. And for the March show only, you will not be
penalized if you do not body clip your mini. It's still a little cold out there and
we a re all for keeping the lil guys warm.
No more of that big horse stuff in the middle of the mini classes, so the show should be
rather speedy this year. Since Minis are up first in the ring it's suggested you get
there in plenty of time to get settled. The March show is always the one with the
biggest amount of paperwork so yeah, get there early.

Please note that the first class starts at 10:00 AM. We try to take our horses & stuff the night before & get up early Saturday to finish things. I have installed a map finder program to help you find the Equestrian Center. If you need information on a motel room for Friday night, please e-mail us back and we'll get the info to.
