Entry Level Exhibitors refers to the Exhibitor, not the horse, and these
Exhibitors are not restricted to Entry Level Classes alone.
Newcomers are welcometo enter any class in which they feel comfortable.
Many Entry Level Exhibitors also enter Amateur Classes and Open Classes.
The Entry Level Classes have been designed for those Exhibitors who are showing
for their first or second year in the particular class. For Example:
An Exhibitor has shown only 1 year in a Showmanship Class and has never shown in
a Hunter Class before. The Exhibitor has shown in the Jumper Class for
numerous years. The Exhibitor is eligible for Entry Level Classes in
Showmanship and in the Hunter Class and is not eligible for the Entry Level
Jumper Class because the Exhibitor has more than two years in that particular
class. The advantage to having Entry Level Classes is for the
Exhibitor to gain confidence and experience. There will be demonstrations
before the class and a practice area will be set up. An Entry Level
Exhibitor may also show a miniature horse in the open classes that qualify for
the Supreme World Champion in Halter Performance and in Driving.
High Point Entry Level Awards are separated for Adults and Youths.
